1980: Ron Zanussi and Bobby Smith each had 3 assists to lead the Minnesota North Stars to a 6-3 win over the visiting Leafs, in Game 1 of their Preliminary Round series. Toronto goalie Jiri Crha set a playoff record by facing 61 shots in his first playoff game.
1980: In their first playoff game in three years the Minnesota North Stars set team playoff records with 30 shots in the first period and 61 shots in the game, a 6-3 win over the visiting Maple leafs in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Preliminary Round series.
1981: Steve Payne scored the first hat trick in Minnesota's playoff history, including the winning goal at 3:34 of overtime to lead the North Stars to a 5-4 playoff win at Boston, in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Preliminary Round.

2010: Wade Dubielewicz replaced an injured Niklas Backstrom in goal early in the third period, and stopped all 5 shots he faced in regulation then made 2 more saves in the shootout to lead the Wild to a 2-1 win, their third straight in Calgary.
2011: Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Mikkio Koivu picked up three assists each to lead the Wild to a 3-1 victory in Edmonton.
2014: Minnesota's Ryan Suter scored the tying goal with 1:05 remaining in regulation, Mikko Koivu tallied the lone goal in the shootout, and Ilya Bryzgalov improved to 7-0-3 since joining the Wild, after a 4-3 win over the visiting Boston Bruins.
