1960 Squaw Valley Olympic Hockey Games

Final third period moments from the USA vs. USSR 1960 game held on Feb. 27, 1960 at Squaw Valley, California.  Roger Christian of Warroad, MN scores the game winning goal from a pass from Tommy Williams of Duluth, MN. In the United States the victory and USA Gold Medal has come to be known as the "Forgotten Miracle".


1971 NCAA Hockey National Championship Highlights

Boston University wins its first NCAA Hockey National Championship over Minnesota in 1971 by a score of 4-2. Excellent old highlight video with Head Coach Glen Sonmor behind the Gophers bench. AntonovichSarner, Gambucci and Dean Blais star for the Minnesota Gophers. Quite possibly the earliest known video of Gophers Hockey?

The Minnesota Wilds home ice at the Xcel Energy Center is nice but boy do we miss this old barn!  Enjoy this personal guided building tour of the Met Center.  Including footage of the North Stars locker-room.  What is that by the way in Gaétan Duchesnes locker stall? R.I.P. "Duke"

Met Center "Farewell" December 13, 1994

Coliseum Tour Feb. 28, 2014

The Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum on the State Fair Grounds removed the ice for good following the 2014 Boys Regional Playoffs as the aging ice making plant was in need of repair. Following a "fairwell to the ice" open skate held on March 1, 2014 the historic building will never again see ice in this historic location. This 4 minute walk-through video was shot on the morning of February 28, 2014 (The last day of hockey play in the Coliseum).
