Pleasant Ice Arena

Pleasant Ice Arena is located at 848 Pleasant Ave on the edge of Highway 35 in St. Paul, MN and is one of the numerous 1970's erected Ramsey County Arena's that opened it's door officially in 1973. The arena is a bare-bones "no frills" classic with a small lobby upon entering the rink, and tiny makeshift locker rooms. With one regulation ice sheet, and seating for 300, Pleasant is home to the historic St. Paul Figure Skating Club, which becomes obvious that Pleasant Arena predominately is used for figure skating with the numerous lockers - adjacent to the ice sheet- jump training section, various banners, photos and numerous accolades to those whom have passed through this classic ice arena's doors and went onto achieve figure skating greatness. Outwardly, the building shares the same design as White Bear, Ken Yackel, Biff Adams and Highland Arenas- all erected within Ramsey County during the 1970's.
