Wan-Gard Hockey Sticks - Duluth Wood Specialty Co.
Wan-Gard hockey sticks were manufactured by Duluth Wood Specialty Company formerly located at 24 S. 54th Ave. West in Duluth, MN. Duluth Wood Specialties existed from our knowledge 1925-1931 and at the time was considered the oldest and largest manufacturer of hockey sticks in the United States. Wan-Gard eventually was sold to Lovell Manufacturing Company, and the Wan-Gard company name, logo and assets were re-located to Erie, PA.
