1947:  NHL All-Stars: 1ST - Doug Bentley- Milt Schmidt-Maurice Richard D- Ken Reardon-Butch Bouchard G- Bill Durnan -1st PLAYER EVER to make 1st team in 1st 4 YRS - 2nd team: Woody Dumart, Max Bentley, Bobby Bauer, Jack Stewart, Bill Quackenbush-Frank Brimsek.

1968:  Bill Goldsworthy scored twice and Milan Marcetta had two assists in the Minnesota North Stars' 5-1 win against the St. Louis Blues at the Met Center, in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Semi-Finals.

1969:  Former NHL right winger Ben Hankinson born in Edina, Minnesota. Hankinson played in the NHL 1992-93 through 1994-95 with New Jersey and Tampa Bay.

1975:  Minnesota Fighting Saints played their last playoff game in franchise history in a 4-2 loss to Quebec Nordiques in Game 6 of the WHA semi-finals.

1984:  NHL center David Backes born in Blaine, Minn. Backes has played in the NHL since 2006-07 with St. Louis.

2000:  Minnesota Wild officially received their full NHL franchise status.

2015:  Zach Parise became the Minnesota Wilds' all-time leader in playoff points in the Wild 4-3 2nd round playoff loss to Chicago Blackhawks.  It was Parises' 18th career multi-point playoff game.  Thomas Vanek had 2 primary assists in the loss, for his first multi-assist playoff game.
