1938: Boston rookie Frankie Brimsek became the first goalie in team history to record three straight road shutouts, with the 4th of his career in a 1-0 win at Montreal.
1967: Cesare Maniago was in goal as the Minnesota North Stars became the first post 1967 expansion team to get back-to-back shutouts, with a 3-0 win at Los Angeles. It was also the first road shutout in team history.
1971: Murray Oliver scored twice and added an assist to lead the Minnesota North Stars to a 4-1 win against the St. Louis Blues, at the Met Center.
1977: Dennis Hextall scored a goal and two assists and Reed Larson had three assists as the Red Wings tied 5-5 with the Rangers at the Olympia.
1979: Al MacAdam scored twice to lead the Minnesota North Stars to a 3-1 win over the Blues at St. Louis.
1982: Defenseman Reed Larson scored a goal and three assists as the Red Wings tied the Penguins 4-4 in Pittsburgh.
1984: New Jersey's Aaron Broten began a team-record 12 game point scoring streak in the Devils' 8-3 win over the visiting Quebec Nordiques.
1988: The NHL announced the recipients for the Lester Patrick Award. The winners were Dan Kelly, Lou Nanne and Bud Poile and the late Lynn Patrick.
2002: Mike Leclerc scored a goal and added three assists, and Matt Cullen had four assists as the Mighty Ducks outshot the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins 47-19 for a 5-0 victory. Jean-Sebastien Giguere recorded his 12th career shutout.
2002: Despite being outshot 34-15 by the visiting Carolina Hurricanes, backup goalie Dwayne Roloson made 33 saves to lead the Wild to a 2-1 victory.

2009: Defenseman Marek Zidlicky scored at 19:21 of the third period to give the Minnesota Wild a 2-1 win over the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets.
2015: Minnesota Wild claimed free-agent Jarret Stoll off waivers.
2015: Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Dumba played his 100th NHL game vs. Vancouver Canucks in Wild 6-2 win.
2015: The N.Y. Rangers called up Lakeville, MN native Brady Skjei for his 1st NHL game.
2016: Minnesota Wild goaltender - Devan Dubnyk set a career high 10-game point streak that began on November 23 through today. Dubnyk posted a 8-0-2 record with a 1.65 GAA and a .944 SV% in this span, which led the NHL in both categories, and was tied for 1st in shutouts, and tied for 5th in wins.
2016: Minnesota Wild Charlie Coyle skated in his 300th NHL career game, all with the Wild vs. Nashville Predators.
