2014: The United States Hockey Hall of Fame in Eveleth, MN announced it's newest class of H.O.F. inductees including: Karyn Bye Dietz, Brian Rafalski, Jeff Sauer and Lou Vairo.
2015: Pittsburgh Penguins agreed to terms with Virginia, MN native veteran centerman - Matt Cullen on a one-year contract for $800,000.
2015: Edina, MN native Brian Burke was announced as the USA Hockey Senior Advisor for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, and St. Paul, MN native/active Philadelphia Flyers President - Paul Holmgren was announced as the USA Hockey Assistant GM for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
