1932: Hall of Famer Leo Boivin born in Prescott, Ont. Boivin played in the NHL 1951-52 through 1969-70 with Toronto, Boston, Detroit, Pittsburgh and the Minnesota North Stars. He later served as coach with the St. Louis Blues.
1937: Former NHL left winger Dave Balon born in Wakaw, Sask. Balon played in the NHL 1959-60 through 1972-73 with the New York Rangers, Montreal, the Minnesota North Stars and Vancouver.
1987: John Marks was named as Head Coach of the North Stars' farm club in Kalamazoo, Michigan (K-Wings).
1988: Minnesota North Stars named Doug Jarvis and George Kingston as their new assistant coaches.
2002: Minnesota Sports & Entertainment named Pamela Wheelock Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
2005: Minnesota Wild signed left wing Roman Voloshenko.
2015: Minnesota Wild and centerman - Erik Haula agreed to terms on a two-year contract for $2 Million ($950,000 year 1 & $1.05 Million year 2).
